Design Notes

We performed codon optimization on this gene sequence to use it in yeast. And then we modified some sites to deleted some enzyme cutting sites.

SasA is from the the cyanobacterium Synechococcus elongatus PCC7942 and naturally controls the phosphorylation of RpaA. In vivo, SasA will bind to KaiC during the subjective day and phosphorylate RpaA via its kinase activities.
